and Conditions for Donations
Payment of donations
RHL accepts donations through its website in the form of card payments.
If donors would prefer to donate using cash or cheque payment, or set
up a standing order they should contact RHL and not use this payment method.
All major Credit/Debit Cards are acceptable methods of payment via the
website. The donor has the option to gift aid their donation, thereby
increasing the value of their donation to RHL
All donations are regarded as donations to RHL, enabling it to fulfil
its charitable objects, as set out in its Memorandum and Articles of Association.
If a donor wishes to make a donation for specific use they must discuss
this with the Chief Executive before any donation is made.
Privacy Statement
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Authorised employees within
the company on a need to know basis only use any information collected
from individual donors. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure
the best possible service to our donors. Parliament has created specific
offences for unauthorised actions against computer systems and data. We
will investigate any such actions with a view to prosecuting and/or taking
civil proceedings to recover damages against those responsible.
Confidentiality
We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and as such, donor
records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged
to any third party unless legally required to do so to the appropriate
authorities. We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information
to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any
e-mails sent by this Company will only be in connection with the provision
of services and products supplied by this Company.
Refunds Policy
If the donor chooses to change their mind about a donation they must contact
the Chief Executive of RHL within one week of making the donation. If
the donor has reason to question the use of their donation they should
contact the Chief Executive of RHL.
