RHL
RHL is an independent charity and company limited by guarantee. We are
also a Social Enterprise, selling services to earn income in order to
acquire financial sustainability.
The organisation was born out of Big Lottery funding in 2002, a project
conceived by Rushmoor Borough Council and Blackwater Valley PCT. In 2004
the charity and company were formed to try and sustain RHL beyond the
five year funding period and we are still here!
The organisation comprises a Board of Directors and a staff team led
by the Chief Executive. In addition to The Directors, RHL uses volunteers
where it can within the relevant activities.
In delivering social benefit and fulfilling our charitable aims, RHL
works with many partners, be they funding partners or delivery partners.
These partners come from all sectors, private, public and social and all
have one thing in common, a wish to improve the health and wellbeing of
individuals.
As an independent organisation, we have no geographical boundaries and
are keen to deliver different projects in new locations, expanding our
partnerships and delivering to a greater number of beneficiaries.
We are driven by our values, aims and objectives and intend to build
our quality offerings to meet the growing need for Health & Wellbeing
services.
